Can consciousness happen when the mind is busy? When we are thinking?
John Tiburon - Born in February, a Pisces in frozen, ultra-conservative, way inland Ohio USA, After mostly happily spending some years in California, Illinois, Florida, New Mexico, Colorado (Colorado College), and Oregon, I wound up spreading roots and branches and even some flowers in Costa Rica, where I have lived since 1972, marrying an extraordinary native and having a few extraordinary children (all of whom I like and love a lot, and appreciate for their educating and transforming me and helping keep me alive and well!). My passions have included environmental activism (mostly marine conservation, Parque Nacional Marino Ballena), inn-keeping (lacusingalodge.com), seeking spiritual growth, helping others as well as myself, playing and listening to music, writing ("The Gringo's Hawk"), teaching, traveling, co-creating, employing, playing, extreme snorkeling, night watching. . . Being alive during this incredible Anthropocene time of human and global transformation and evolution, feels to me like surfing deep in the roaring barrel of a big gnarly, stormy Teahupo'o wave which is dubiously makeable.
