Blog-writing and Content Marketing (Faculty: Patsi Krakoff, Ph.D.)

Hi there, Leading Coaches, friends and colleagues,

I’m Patsi Krakoff, aka The Blog Squad, and it’s a real pleasure to be part of this amazing community of Leading Coaches put together by Suzi.

Some of you I know from past coaching summits, others are new to me. I’m hoping we’ll get to know each other soon.

A lot has happened in online marketing in the last ten years, even more so in the last five. The pace seems to be accelerating… with new tools appearing every day.

If you’re a busy coach you may not have time to follow every trend – nor should you try every shiny new object. Yes, you should be blogging; yes, Twitter is a good idea; but do them the smart way.

My advice is to be an active participant here at the Leading Coaches Center. The people Suzi gathers for faculty and members will keep you up to date with what you need to know, and what you can ignore!

Let me just give you a brief tip here:

Content Marketing is the term being applied to best practices for small businesses and professionals who want to get online, get found, get known and get clients.

It includes blogging, e-newsletters, social media, video, audio, – everything that communicates your core message to attract your ideal clients.

It’s nothing new to many of us, it’s only the shiny new Internet delivery tools that make it seem different and a little scary. But just like we learned to use email, we can learn to use blogging and social media.

I hope to help you become more adept at online marketing and make your use of content marketing tools faster, easier and better. That will free up time you deserve to do whatever you truly love!

Patsi
