Krubski and Camus introduce a procedure for identifying pertinent facts related to a specific issue, a set of propositions related to this issue, and the key operating principle underlying this issue. Known as 7-3-1, this set of steps offers a professional coach specific instructions for helping their client “think whole.”

The Form is the universal question key on the basis of which Thinking Whole and Thinking Whole do their “magic.” The first thing you should know is that the two triangles and the circle represent three distinct, and contributive “chunks” of Thinking Whole and map the sequence in which they will help the team progress to success.

Thinking Whole bridges intuitive decisioning and deliberative decisioning. It provides space for the unknowable and unknown as productively as the well-known and the little-known.

If Actionable Insighting leads to the crystallization of the Central Operating Principle, then the Central Operating Principle should guide the ultimate executions (using the same approach) of that principle:

We believe that Thinking Whole, and the concept of Thinking Whole that spawned it, are playing a small part in that expansion of understanding; particularly when it comes to actionability. We believe our contribution adds the prescriptive dimension to this conversation.
