The rhythms of our days. Some days are rushed, even more than others. Some days it feels like you have a bit more time to do what needs doing. Still other days, it feels as if you can barely breathe, only finding slivers of time.
Sue West is a Certified Organizer Coach® - through her experiences, client work and education, Sue has focused her coaching on organizing as we move through mid and later life transitions and changes. As we move through changes, such as ‘empty nester’ stage, marriage, divorce, diagnosis such as adult AD/HD, caregiving or changes in our business life, we often find we are out of sync. If we reorganize how we are using our time, shift our systems at home and at work, and yes, even declutter “our stuff”, we can gain some control when we need it most. We gain clarity. We sort out the pieces, come out of the fog, and begin to move on to create our next chapter. We organize, for a fresh start. Sue is one of approximately 25 Certified Organizer Coaches(R), one of 400 Certified Professional Organizers(R), and the author of Organize for a Fresh Start: Embrace Your Next Chapter in Life. She has three specialty certificates in Life Transitions, Chronic Disorganization, and Organizing with ADHD and is a. Chronic Disorganization Specialist, through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization. Sue has had 20 years of business experience and subsequently 8 years in organizing and coaching.

If you’ve been through a big life change lately – of your choice or not – then your surroundings really may not become you. When the dust settles, you may find yourself surrounded by your past—your belongings or home reflect who you were before your transition, but now things have changed. You may be feeling this already – that some of your belongings are no longer in sync with the person you are becoming. They really feel like … clutter.
Changes interrupt our lives. These changes and transitions leave us with homes, belongings, and schedules that no longer work for us. Something is out of alignment, and we’re not sure what.
